I checked the Struthers--Lowellville section of the Mahoning R. again yesterday, it held 300 Canada geese, Am. black duck, ring-necked duck, buffleheads, 10 c. goldeneyes, hooded mergansers, and pied-billed grebe.  I made the trek to L. Erie in the afternoon.  In a couple hours at the Eastlake Power Plant, I found canvasbacks, redheads, greater scaup, lesser scaup, buffleheads, c. goldeneyes, common mergansers, red-breasted mergansers, double-crested cormorant, Am. coots, 1 Bonaparte's gull, a first-cycle Iceland gull, and great black-backed gulls.  I went over to E. 72nd St. at Cleveland for an hour-plus to finish the day.  Birds there included Am. black ducks, 2 gadwalls, redheads, greater scaup, 60 lesser scaup, buffleheads, c. goldeneyes, a male hooded merganser, red-breasted mergansers, double-crested cormorant, Am. coot, a first-cycle lesser black-backed gull, an adult glaucous gull, and 25 great black-backed gulls.  Later, Craig
