Fellow bird counters,

Linda Helm and I each managed to see 446 birds in 2009. Not a bad
year, with trips to Minnesota in winter, San Diego , Joshua tree and Phoenix
in March, the Florida panhandle in April, Minnesota and North Dakota in
June, SE Arizona in August and all over Ohio in between. We got about a
dozen life birds. Note that you get to see a lot of nice country when you
chase birds.

Would love to hear other reports.
