Reading all the previous posts regarding Magee Marsh and the birding in
May --- Take it from me (just a "common" birder!!) yes, watch the weather as
Mark S indicated. HOWEVER, the whole month of May is absolutely AWESOME!!!
With birds "hanging" from the trees, paying NO attention to you and your
camera or binos, we have been visiting the Boardwalk for 15++ years, now and
believe me, the WHOLE month is definitely worth it!
The whole area - anywhere along the North Shore is good, Ottawa NWR is good,
BUT for my buck - it has to be Magee!
