Hey guys,

February '09 edition of Birds and Blooms is out...and can anyone spot
the typo...well miss ID really. :-)
Page 9...you can't miss it. I was in the dentist office when I saw it
and nearly laughed my head off.
Made me wonder what the editors were doing/thinking that day.

Yesterday I saw one male Harrier On Hoover-Moffit Rd in Union County
right near St Hwy 47. He was more in a cruising altitude than a hunting
one.

As far as Big Island WA goes, I spotted a couple of Northern Harriers
today, 1 male 1 female, patrolling the skies down 95.

Also at BIWA, a Red Tailed Hawk was using one of the swallow boxes along
the side of what I call Elgin School Rd as a hunting perch...wish I had
my camera...:-)

And finally there are Horned Larks on nearly every back road in
Marion/Union County. There haven't been any Snow Buntings. however
there is still a lot of winter yet to go.

See you out there.

Steve

Genesis 1:22

God blessed them and said, "Be fruitful and increase in number and fill
the water in the seas, and let the birds increase on the earth."
