Just for the record I have seen only a single light-phase Rough-legged Hawk at Killdeer in five trips between the first week of December and the third week in January. Too bad I didn't have John Blakeman's information months ago, otherwise I'd be tracking age classes of Red-tailed Hawks...very informative. Does anyone have any data on Northern Harriers? In the same five trips mentioned above I have seen only two adult females and one adult male. I seem to recall observing at least a few immatures every winter.
