The Darke Co. birders checked out the area along the Miami River where the Glaucous gull was sited earlier. We did not see it. We met Jay Stenger and friends there, as well. They had not seen the Glaucous gull either.
Birds seen along the Miami included:
Can. geese
Gr. B. Heron
common Golden Eye
Hooded Mergansers
Green-wing Teal
Black ducks
Mallards
red head ducks
Herring gulls
Ring-billed gulls
Coots
Pied-billed Grebes
Carolina wren
Robins

In the afternoon, we visited Huffman Dam Metro Park and Eastwood Lake
additional birds there included
common merganser male
Mute Swans
immature and mature bald eagles(possible 2 adults)
redtailed hawk
C. chickadees
nuthatches

At Englewood metro park, we found a red-shouldered hawk and a pileated woodpecker
