Passing by the cemetery just after three this afternoon, I drove
through to see if the
merlin was still around.

In section 22, roughly the same area where I saw it two days ago, a
merlin was perched
at the very top of a lone douglas fir. I watched it for about 15
minutes before it flew off
in the direction of Northfield Road.  (This is in the newer section of
the cemetery...the
south end I guess.)

The crows, 500? were again moving through the cemetery, spending some
time foraging on
the berries on a row of viburnum bushes. Just after 4:00 they started
moving on towards
Harvard Road.
