I saw two mature Bald Eagles today near the Put-in-Bay Airport. They have
been reported all week along the East side of the island. I saw one
yesterday eating something on the ice out at the Lime Kiln dock. Don't know
if this is the same pair from the Middle Bass nest or if we have a second
pair cruising around.
Lots of small birds moving around with the warm winds today-brown creepers,
carolina wren, white-breasted nuthatch, black-capped chickadees,lots of
house finches, northern cardinals, big flocks of robins and starlings around
while out trimming grapes.
