After inadvertently flushing a short eared owl from the meadow at
Frohring I got to
watch it for 40 minutes, after it landed in a near by tree.
Consulting my Sibley's I
take it to be a male......it was a fairly pale coloured bird.

Seen from the parking lot, looking away from the pavilion.  Perched in
the only tree
in the meadow.  He was originally settled in against the small earth
mound by the
parking lot.

  Also 3 crows, 3 bluebirds, 1 red tailed hawk.
