We have seen a red-shouldered hawk several times in the past week.
Earlier in the week, it was sitting on a tree branch along Old Springfield Rd.
just west of the Stillwater River. Today, it was seen from the first parking
lot overlooking the lake in the Main Metropark. It flew across the lake
and landed in a tree on the east side of the lake. Great looks at it flying
and sitting in the sun

Ballenger Road:
    American kestrel
    White-throated, song, and tree sparrows
    Dark-eyed juncos

Main Metropark:
    Red-shouldered hawk
    Red-tailed hawk
    Pileated, red-bellied, and downy woodpeckers
    Eastern bluebirds
    Carolina wren
    And all the "regular stuff"
