The Yellow-throated Warbler in Chagrin Falls was found dead Saturday, Jan. 2nd, around 3:00PM. Authorities initially suspected foul play. Two neighborhood cats and the resident Coopers Hawk were questioned in connection with the death. They were exonerated when the coroner's report ruled the death was from natural causes. The body will be donated to the Natural History Museum. The homeowners are very saddened by his passing. Everyone had hoped that by some miracle he would survive until spring, but the delicate creature probably succumbed to the bitter cold of the last few days. For the short time he spent in Chagrin Falls, he brought joy and a splash of color to many people in an otherwise gray winter setting. Sally Isacco,Chardon
