2 Merlin were observed on 01/02/10. Section 44 and Section 20.
1 Merlin was observed on 01/03/10 in Section 20. This bird went to roost
earlier than normal (4:30), not surprising with weather we are having here
in the Cleveland area.
The sandpit ponds are almost frozen over and only Canada Geese and a few
gulls have been observed.
There have been a few Juncos and American Robins observed near the RR
bridge. Not surprising this is near where the Merlin are.
Occasionally the Cooper's Hawk and a Red-tailed Hawk have been observed
also.

Yard List:
Tufted Titmouse 4
N. Cardinals 8
B.C. Chickadee 6
Downy Woodpecker 2
Red-bellied Woodpecker 1
Red-breasted Nuthatch 1. been coming to feeders since late fall.
White-breasted Nuthatch 1
White-throated Sparrow 5
Am. Tree Sparrow 3
Dark eyed Juncos
Am. Goldfinch
House Finch
Mourning Dove
House Sparrow
Pigeons great prey item for the occasional raid from the Cooper's Hawk.
Juvenile Red-tailed Hawk has been roosting in my pines.
