The crossbill did not return.  It was here when there were quite a few house
finches around.  House finch numbers were low in the afternoon.  The
crossbill I had two years ago seemed to move with the house finches.  The
crossbill that was here today briefly went to the suet feeder but did not
visit any of the feeders.  If it returns I'll let people know.

I'll try and post photos later.  I usually post on the "rarebird.org" site
and it is down for maintenance.
