Chilly greetings, everyone!

Woke up this morning to below zero temps here in our little valley only to
find a beautiful male yellow-bellied sapsucker clinging to the side of our
sugar maple tree in the front yard. As of 12:35 today, he's still present
and enjoying the peanut suet I have in one of the suet feeders. What a nice
surprise for such a cold day!

Happy birding,

Michele Skolmutch
