The snowy owl north of Conneaut gave an awesome view yesterday.
Stopped by Pymatuning on way home and witnessed courtship display of a
group of Common Goldeneye, now that was an exciting event.
Also there were Ring-necked Ducks, Mallards, Canvasback and Snow Buntings.
Just a note of that I have been traveling up and down the roads around
Mosquito Wildlife Area in the last couple weeks and have been seeing
flocks of Am. Tree Sparrows, Blue Jay, Cardinals, Blue birds, Song
Sparrows and House Sparrows in the shrubs along the roads. Also have seen
many Krestels, Harriers (mostly females), Eagles, and Red-tailed Hawks.
