Observed several small mixed flocks of Horned Larks and Snow Buntings in the fields surrounding the Wayne County Airport the last 2 days. Also 3 American Kestrels hunting from the power lines in the same area. Enjoying them while they're still here...
Several Robins and Bluebirds have been out this weekend, singing away. Our Red Tails have paired up again, Pileateds were calling back and forth in the woods, and we watched a pair of Northern Cardinals feeding each other and touching beaks in the honeysuckle bush by our deck this morning. :) Come on, Spring!!!
Happy Birding!
Kate
