I noticed a couple other posts about having N. Mockingbirds in yards... for
the past couple days I've had one coming to the bird bath..It hasn't shown
any interest in the feeders, but its liking the heated water! Also,
while its not unusual to have Red Tail and Coopers Hawks in and around my yard,
for the past few days there's been a Red Tail actively hunting squirrels
out back.. On Friday afternoon I saw it nail a squirrel in a Silver Maple
just behind the house.. Unfortunately, I couldn't get a window open in time
to get a good shot of it, but it keeps hanging around (most recently,
yesterday)..
