From: | [log in to unmask][log in to unmask], 8 Feb 2010 15:39:32 -0800512_iso-8859-1 Nothing out of the ordinary at Sheldon's. Castalia pond was mostly Canada geese, with mallards, shovelers, and a couple of bufflehead. Castalia Hatchery had four bald eagles and a small flock of yellow-rumped warblers. Bacon Woods had a hermit thrush in the main woods and a red-shouldered hawk on a pole by the maintenance area at the top of the hill. With warblers and thrushes here, can spring be far behind? Don't answer that... Craig Caldwell Westlake49_8Feb201015:39: [log in to unmask] |

A pair of bluebirds are sitting on branches in the back yard. First time in the yard. We are in oak woods in suburban Akron. Handsome creatures.
