I stopped at Sims Park in Euclid today from 3:15 to 3:50pm. The ice looked like there could be a few open places if it stayed warm. I went up on the high bluff at the east end of the park looking south where the wood stairs go down. There was a BROWN CREEPER. Then I saw the Cedar Waxwings were down in the gully area. There were dead trees, tall trees, vines and bushes with black berries. I first saw about 35 of them. An immature Cooper's Hawk flew by and they disappeared as I was walking down. As I got to my car the flock flew back from the west to a tall tree above the driveway and fence near where the disk golf players start. This time there were 60 of the Cedar Waxwings.

I then stopped at the Cuyahoga County Airport on the west side by Richmond Rd. Just south of Curtiss Wright Pkwy there is "Crossover Rd" that connects to Stage One Rd. This is directly in front of JB Milanos Restaurant. There are various pine trees and there were at least two and possibly three RED-BREASTED NUTHATCHES. They were making a lot of little noises. They flew to the other pine trees on the other side of Stage One Rd. I thought I heard Killdeer at the airport but the security guard that drove by intimidated me and I didn't want to stay there any longer.

On the north side of Avion Park Dr. on the west side of Bishop Rd in Highland Hts there was a Red-shouldered Hawk sitting in a tree. He preceded to fly across to the Aberdeen Business Park and then south to the Stonewater Golf Course. On Feb 7th there was one on the east side of Bishop Rd just south of White Rd. Yesterday (2/20) there was one flying by the east side of Euclid Square Mall south down East 260th St. towards Euclid Ave in the City of Euclid. Driving to Wildwood Park this morning there was the pair of Red-tailed Hawks flying over Euclid Creek Reservation near Highland Rd & Euclid Ave that are often seen.
