We have had this beautiful hawk visit several times over the past two weeks
here in Orient (south of Columbus) but for the life of me I can't seem to
identify it. I am wondering if it is a juvenile Red-shoulder Hawk perhaps.
It doesn't seem to be dark enough to be a juvenile Red-tailed to me (nor do
I detect any red in the tail). I was hoping for a Broad-winged Hawk but I'm
afraid it is too early for that. I am posting a photo of our find.

breakfast)
