On Saturday Feb 20 2010 there was a Cooper's Hawk in my big oak tree.
There also was a squirrel not far away. The squirrel was staring at the hawk
for sometime. It was about 20 ft away. Then the squirrel decided to go check
out the hawk. It went right behind the hawk. The hawk moved away about 5
ft. The squirrel followed it. The squirrel went again and sat right there
with the hawk, until the hawk gave up and flew away. Now here is a question??
Has anyone ever seen a squirrel annoying a hawk. I don't think the squirrel
would aggrivate a redtail...The hawk is right now in my tree again but I
don't see the squirrel. I took pictures but my camera isn't a very good one
far away....
