Mary Ann and I spent the afternoon watching birds at Pickerington Ponds, Franklin County. Lots of ducks in the ponds, species seen:

American Wigeon
American Black Duck
Mallard
Blue-winged Teal
Northern Shovelor
Northern Pintail
Green-winged Teal
Redhead
Ring-necked Duck
Lesser Scaup
Bufflehead
Hooded Merganser
Great Blue Heron on nest and feeding
Turkey Vulture
Redtailed Hawk one sitting on a nest.
American Coot
Killdeer
Rock Pigeon
Mourning Dove
Downey Woodpecker
Blue Jay
American Crow
Tree Swallow
Tufted Titmouse
White-breasted Nuthatch
Eastern Bluebird

European Starling
