Dr. Russell,
i remember that we found a couple of the nets with some big holes in them. if you want, I could take a whack at repairing them for you. I'd just need the sewing supplies and the nets

Subject: Chili Challenge
Greetings!
Spring is upon us!!! Check out how far the hummingbirds have made it—they will probably be here in about 10 more days!! [http://www.hummingbirds.net/map.html]
Chimney Swifts are coming too!! [http://www.concentric.net/~dwa/page188.html]
In the last three or four days, I’ve had the opportunity to take several groups out and it is amazing how quickly birds are appearing!!
I haven’t had the opportunity to get my (remaining) net lanes in order yet, nor had the chance to make a few new ones, although I was able to get the bulldozed area seeded last week. At any rate, I will probably use Thursday this week to work at the banding station and then commence banding either Sat or next Tues [probably Tues]. I’ll send out a note at the end of the week.
I have only heard from Victorious Egret in the Chili Challenge (although there was a veiled reference on the Cincy Hotline from the Bird Brains). Please send your updates—things are about to get very interesting!!
Cheers
Dave
