Best group of birds on a sunny but not very birdy afternoon in the CVNP were the 13 Kildeer feeding in the corn stubble in the field directly south of Szalay's barn on Riverview Drive. Though the Kildeer may be too often taken for granted, not so on an early spring day like this...
