As of 9:00 a.m. today, the Eurasian Widgeon was still at TJ Evans park, north of Newark.  I braved the 30 deg. temps and watched it steal food from Redheads.  It would peer intently into the water each time a Redhead dove and try to steal vegetation right out of the other duck's beak.

Besides the EW and Redheads, also seen were:
Canvasbacks
American Widgeon
Coot
Mallard
Ring-necked
Canadas & some domestic ducks
unidentified gulls

All were seen from the observation deck.
