I saw five Hooded Mergansers (3f, 2m) in a small pond on the west side of Richmond Heights in Cuyahoga County on the west side of Donna Dr. running south off of Highland Rd around 7:15pm this evening. (Across from the condo party center) The condos are on the east side of Donna and a new housing development is west of Donna Dr and encroaching on the pond.  It is not the pond on Highland Rd at the entrance to the new development called Highland Ridge.  This is just up the hill from Euclid Creek Reservation.  Last fall I saw some Wood Ducks there.
