There were hundreds of ducks on the Scioto river north of the Home Rd
bridge today, in groups stretching almost to the bridge at Rt 42. Most
of them appeared to be male & female ring-necked ducks. There were also
some redheads and a few canvasbacks. I couldn't discern any other species
but I did see a few bufflehead on the Scioto, north of SR 37.
