We spent 2.5 hrs at Tinkers Creek SNP in Portage County Tuesday morning. ( Sorry to post 2 days after the fact.)

The highlights were 4 (maybe 5) Bald eagles. Two remain at the nest. Another adult came in and was chased off.

Also saw an immature - probably 2nd year bald eagle long the north and south trail.

Later saw 2  perched in a tree out in the marsh along the east side south trail. They were backlit making it hard to tell whether same birds as already seen.

Other hightlight was seeing all these  woodpeckers:

Downy
Hairy
Red-bellied
Piliated
Northen Flicker
