The Dayton Audubon Society's annual birdathon will be held from 5:00 PM on Friday, April 30 until 5:00 PM on Saturday, May 1.
All proceeds will go to the Beavercreek Wetlands (50%), Aullwood Audubon Center and Farm (25%) and the Dayton Audubon Society Scholarship Fund (25%).
If you would like to join an existing team or form a new team of your own, please contact me for more information, or simply request that an information packet be sent to you. Everyone is welcome, and we encourage school groups to become involved.
At the end of the Birdathon, teams are invited to meet at Patty's Shelter, located in Englewood MetroPark, at 5:30 PM on Saturday, May 1, to tally the species seen and enjoy good fellowship with complimentary pizza and soft drinks.
