Spent the afternoon checking out Pleasant Hill Lake (Ashland/Richland), Clear Fork Res. (Richland), and Funk Bottoms Wildlife Area and Shreve L. (Wayne)

Good numbers of waterfowl,highlighted by big flight of Horned Grebes - 138 total: 87 PHL, 32 CFR, 19 Shreve L. 

175 Bonaparte's Gulls at PHL, mainly Ring-billed and Herring at CFR and 200+ Ring-billed at Funk
Tundra Swan - 162 - Funk
100+ Black, Pintail, Am. Wigeon, Mallard, Gadwall
smaller numbers of all other expected ducks, plus the first Blue-winged Teal at Funk
1260 Lesser Scaup
350 Ring-necked Ducks
123 Bufflehead
188 Red-br. Merganser (140 CFR)
77 Ruddy Ducks
2 C. Loons at PHL and 1 at CFR
50 Cormorants at CFR
Pipits and Sandhill Cranes at Funk

Late report - first hawk watch at Conneaut on Friday, 3/19 resulted in too much northwest in the wind. Totals included:
141 Turkey Vulture
5 Northern Harrier
2 Bald Eagle
8 Sharp-shinned
12 Cooper's
54 Red-shouldered
47 Red-tailed
2  Rough-legged
