WOW! The east side of GLSM was awesome today!!

 

This is what we found!!

 

Redbreassted Mergansers XXXX

Common Mergansers (only a couple -- but they were there!)

Scaup XXX

Buffleheads

N Shovelers

and the most fun birds:  Horned Grebes - about 25-30!!

Only a couple of Pb Grebes!

Ruddy Ducks -- 5-8

A couple of Redheads!!

and of course, the "ever present" Canada geese.

Great Blue Herons

Turkey Vultures

 

DE Juncos

Robins

An Immature Bald Eagle!

Coopers Hawk

Redtail Hawk Incubating!!

Ringbill Gulls by the Cs

Herring Gulls 20-30

 

Plastic bag birds along the fence along OH 29!!

 

A Flamingo -- "What do you mean I can't count a PLASTIC one??"

 

Great day on the Lake!!

 

Also met Joe from Huron County! 

 

Good to be back home - and the weather better continue to get HOT!! But then we will complain aboout how HOT it is! We are NEVER satisfied..
