I went back to LaDue this afternoon at 3:30 and didn't find long
tailed ducks.
Not as many ducks as yesterday, but still lots of red breasted
mergansers.
I counted near 300. A dozen horned grebes, 8 pied billed. 4 Hooded
mergansers, a few
buffleheads, scaup, ruddys and ring necked ducks.

A quick walk around Frohring Meadows produced several meadowlarks, and
five common snipe. The snipe were easy to see, as they seemed to fly
from side
as walkers came near. Two wood ducks and a dozen or so mallards.

Inga Schmidt
