It is definitely the time to look for Long-tailed Ducks! At 1:30PM my wife returned with me to Berlin Reservoir to see them; they were still at the previously described location. We then ventured twenty miles to the southeast to Guilford Lake in Columbiana County and found 6 more, along with 3 Common Loons in breeding plumage, numerous Horned Grebes and Buffleheads.
