Stopped by at 3:30pm today for 15 min on the west side. The brilliant
sunny day made the birds really stand out on the glassy calm water thru my
spotting scope. A huge number of Bonaparte's Gulls and Red-Breast
Mergansers. But 4 close up loons were the best!
