Yesterday 3/24 I got over to L. Milton in western Mahoning Co.  There were 4 long-tailed ducks there.  Three were adult males; of the 30 oldsquaws I've seen recently at L. Milton, Evans L., and Pine L. about half were adult males.  Also at L. Milton were lesser scaups, buffleheads, c. goldeneyes, hooded mergansers, 72 red-breasted mergansers, horned grebes, pied-billed grebes, and 35 Bonaparte's gulls.  Closer to home, I heard my first e. meadowlark of the season in Coitsville Twp.  Craig Holt, Lowellville
