I just got back from an out of state vacation-missed the ice leaving on
South Bass Island. Yesterday, I saw an eastern meadowlark by the airport,
three wood ducks in a tree at the downtown park (DeRivera), and a large
mixed group of lesser scaup, redheads, and bufflehead in the harbor. There
were turkey vultures everywhere in large numbers on the island moving around.
