Greetings... Charlie Saunders and I checked a couple spots along the
Great Miami River in Hamilton and Fairfield this morning. There was a
Tree Swallow, one American Pipit, 4 Killdeer, 4 Greater Scaup and 5
Lesser Scaup along the river in Hamilton.

Roughly two miles south of Hamilton in Fairfield, we found a Least
Sandpiper on the Tetanus Beach gravel bar. We assume it's the same
bird that has been seen off and on this winter upstream on the gravel
bars in Hamilton, though we haven't seen the sandpiper there in three
weeks.

Take care,
---Mike Busam
