Spring in progress...

On Saturday, four Turkey Vultures were seen moving along the lake shore just
west of Port Clinton in Ottawa County by Laura Alldridge and myself.

At Pickerel Creek WA in Sandusky County a small number of Red-tailed Hawks
and a few Bald Eagles appeared to be migrating through the area. A male
Northern Harrier was also seen.

A large noisy flock of blackbirds, including Red-winged Blackbirds, Common
Grackles and Brown-headed Cowbirds was moving between Ottawa NWR and Magee
Marsh, with a number of Red-wings sitting on territory along our route.

Regards,

Rita Schneider
Cuyahoga County
