Subject: Fw: Common eiders

-

March 2 on Falls Rd (off Rt 41 north out of Bainbridge) while watching
gadwalls in the turbulent water below the falls on Paint Creek we saw 1 lone
tree swallow circling over the water.

On Sunday March 7 we saw two female common eiders at Rocky Fork Lake. They
were across North Shore Drive from where the park office and the newer
camping area are located. There is a small unpaved parking area there and
the sign says Belden Saur. A path leads back to a blind where we saw the
eiders.

Seen by birders Mary Alice Sims, Patty McVicker and Jean Foor all memers of
Scioto Valley Bird and Nature Club.
