Was a real treat to get to see this beautiful bird. Even seen him fluffin' up a bit. Was a great day there ,, watchin' it feed for a while and then he just sat there for some time. Met some great birders , fine folks. The Ruff, Life bird for me . Also had 3 Eagles flying about , 2 Whiteheads and one Immature, looked to be a Basic 2 plummage. Left and went to Lawrence Woods. Neat place. Heard a Pileated short calling and also drumming . then two Barred owls began calling back and forth. Hear a Rufous Sided Towhee and a few birds I didn't know by sound. this year I have thought I was hearing something different and when I would find the bird singin' it would be a Chickadee or a Tufted Titmouse. Have heard a lot of calls out of them this year that I have never heard. Russell Lima, Ohio
