The sun came out this afternoon and I go to do a little birding after a
Brownie troop program at our Wildlife Center on South Bass Island. A
yellow-bellied sapsucker, white-throated sparrow and blue-gray gnatcathers
were present. A trip out to the Lighthouse at the southern tip of the island
produced a palm warbler and yellow-rumped warblers in the trees and savannah
sparrows in the grassy area.
