Hello.
This is my first post. Hope I do this correctly...

I stopped by Bradstreet's Landing earlier in the week to see what I could see on my way to work.
I saw 5 Kingfishers noisily flying around, landing on the rail of the pier and fishing in the small creek.

I also noticed, East of the pier, up on the cliff, several holes. A couple of the Kingfishers were landing in the trees near the holes making lots of noise. I was a good 75 feet away, but they seemed very leary of my presence and never entered any of the holes while I was there.

I've stopped a few times during the week on my way to/from work and they are still hanging around. I suspect they are nesting there(?).

I hope to stop by with my camera soon.

Somebody told me they have seen a Bald Eagle flying around the Gold Coast area (North of Lake Road in Lakewood). I haven't seen it.

Otter
Lakewood.
