I went to Villa Angela/Wildwood Areas of the Cleveland Lakefront State Parks today from 11:45 to 3:30pm.  As soon as I got out of my car in the parking lot near Lakeshore Blvd I could hear the Blue-gray Gnatcatcher in the tall trees on the west side of Euclid Creek.  I ran into Jeanne Hrenko a little later and we birded together for most of this time.  Saw an additional Gnatcatcher in the main woods when we ran into Jenn Brumfield who was on another one.  The Black-crowned Night-Heron was seen in the usual place around 11am but flew around the island by the time I got there but Mark Anderson did see it today.  The wrens were new for me today.  Here is a partial list:

Blue-gray Gnatcatcher 1
House Wren 1 seen and heard singing in bushes near east end of field north of library
Winter Wren 1 heard singing in woods west of grassy knoll west of bridge
Golden-crowned Kinglets 5
Ruby-crowned 1 (others had more Kinglets)
Brown Thrasher 2
Hermit Thrush 4
Eastern Towhee 11
Brown Creeper 3
White-throated Sparrow 1
Fox Sparrow 1
Dark-eyed Junco - at least 7

Wildwood

Bufflehead 1 f
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher 1
Brown Creeper 2
White-throated Sparrow 1
Brown Thrashers 2
Eastern Towhee 2 (m & f)
