Lynda-

Looked up this species after seeing your post, and then found several
(maybe 3-4 individuals) of the same on my own during a long 12-mile hike
this weekend in the Cuyahoga Valley NP in Summit Co. I've been an fairly
avid butterfly/moth observer for the past 25 years and had never seen this
species before...a very neat moth! I may have overlooked it if not for
your post. Thanks!

(P.S...I also saw a Compton's Tortoiseshell butterfly on my hike...I've
never seen one in Ohio before. It was quite the day for Lepidoptera. )
