Songbirds were a bit slow due to the light drizzle, so I spent some time
watching the lake. There were small numbers of Bonaparte's gulls and
red-breasted mergansers feeding off-shore most of the time and there was a
light movement of birds heading east. There were a fair number of loons
feeding offshore and a RED-NECKED GREBE joined them briefly. A flyby
GLAUCOUS GULL was late.
