Persistence pays (my husband would call it stubbornness). I missed the Red-
throated Loon Saturday afternoon and early Sunday morning and thought the
chance to see it would be quite slim at 5pm today with the glare from the
sun. However, the lake was smooth as glass; there was no wind or boat
activity. The loon was seen from the end of Harveysburg Road, scope
needed. A nearby immature Common Loon gave a good comparison.
