I stopped at this site along the Scioto River in west Columbus today looking for migrants. The area around and below the dam offers a decent riparian corridor, and will often attract early and unusual landbird migrants. This morning found little different from what other central Ohio sites have offered up for the past week, namely:

Cormorants - 5+ hanging around the floats above the dam

Swallows - Trees & Rough-wings, though I didn't travel up to the Fishinger bridge to check for returning Cliff Swallows

Creeper,Kinglets - 1 late-ish Brown Creeper, 3-4 Ruby-crowns, no Golden-crowns

Gnatcatchers - 7+, including several singing, perhaps on territory

Warblers - 4 species: Parula, Yellow-throated (2), Yellow-rumped (3), and Pine

Sparrows - a few White-throateds, Chipping, 1 Field
