Subject: eBird Report - Headlands Beach State Park , 4/25/10
To: [log in to unmask]

Headlands Beach State Park was the place to be this morning (4-25). Lots and
lots of swallows migrating past on the lake. We had 6 species of swallows
including 2 CLIFF SWALLOWS! Our group and I for the spring bird walk found
53 species! There were so many Barn Swallows that we didn't even mind to
count them. Along with blackbirds, so many flocks flying over and there were
about 100 Red-winged Blackbirds (mostly females!) in the tall grasses in the
dunes.
