I did my "auto tour" of Coitsville Twp. in NE Mahoning Co. this morning.  Nothing rare or even unexpected was found, but still an enjoyable outing.  Highlights were wild turkey, red-shouldered hawk, 2 Am. kestrels, 4 e. phoebes, tree swallows, n. rough-winged swallows, barn swallows, blue-gray gnatcatchers, 4 house wrens, 11 e. bluebirds, brown thrasher, 3 yellow warblers, 15 e. towhees, 8 field sparrows, rusty blackbird, and purple finch.  Around home in adjacent Poland Twp. the last few days were blue-headed vireo, ruby-crowned kinglet, dark-eyed junco, and purple finches.  Craig Holt, Lowellville
