Greetings,
Several birders saw a singing male golden-winged warbler this morning(4/24) on the pet trail at Highbanks Metro Park near Columbus. It was first seen right after the trail makes a sharp left turn. I later found it about a hundred yards further down the trail. It was keeping company with a blue-winged warbler and both were singing. It tended to stay near the treetops.
Other birds of interest on the pet trail:
prairie warbler
black and white warbler
yellow-throated warbler
Nashville Warbler
yellow-rumped warbler
ovenbird
scarlet tanager
